our PURPOSE

We will start each morning doing arts & crafts. Arts & Crafts are a great creative outlet. They give a child a sense of achievement and allow them to take pride in their work which builds confidence. The benefits of arts for kids are many and include problem-solving abilities, creativity, literacy, fine & gross motor skills, connection, and understanding.

We will skip the pool and the ocean but have fun water games on the field. Water play activities help to develop and strengthen children's gross and fine motor skills. Children enhance their gross motor skills, coordination and physical fitness through lifting, pouring, carrying, running and splashing, while actions such as squeezing help to develop the small muscles in a child's hands.

Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together.

We will enjoy prosperous, more peaceful moments by reading children's books if time allows. Participation in shared reading groups enhances relaxation, calmness, concentration, confidence, self-esteem, and feelings of shared community and common purpose. Reading will spark your child's imagination and stimulate curiosity!
